Dealing with long tangled cords can be stressful. I've found coiling cords into a 5 gallon bucket very helpful. Start by plugging the cord into an outlet and then coil the remainder of the cord into the bucket. It allows you to pull out just the length you need for the job and then easily place it back into the bucket for storage. If working for long periods or continuous use with heavy loads, it is advised to remove from bucket because the cord could overheat.
Installing a toggle-style wall anchor can be a pain especially when the spring-loaded "wing" just spins endlessly instead of actually tightening. Try using an old serrated bread knife to engage the screw threads. With the handle wedged against the wall, it holds the wing snug against the drywall as you install the anchor.
Next time you need to drill a hole in drywall, try this tip. Tape an old envelope gently folded open under where you will be drilling. The envelope's mouth will catch the dust as you drill, making cleanup as easy as throwing out the envelope.
When buying a new paint colour, have the paint desk make an extra label with the colour formula. Stick this label on the back of a light switch in the room for easy duplication if touch up is necessary.
Having renovated a kitchen in the past we knew going in what a nightmare it could be. Luckily we found Wish, and he became our one-stop source for all the custom jobs we needed done. From piecing together a complicated stone backsplash to installing our vent hood and finishing it with custom trim work, Wish knew what he was doing every step of the way and treated the renovation as though it were his own. We were overwhelmed by the attention to detail he put into our projects and the finished results are gorgeous. We will definitely be using his services in future.
I commissioned WISH LIST to convert a product display area into office space at Zip Signs. While the high quality result was expected, the added bonus was that the work was conducted in a manner that created minimal impact on the adjacent office employees during work hours. The work was completed on time and on budget. I would not hesitate to use WISH LIST again.
Our basement was outdated… it looked like something out of “That 70’s Show”, so we wanted to rip it out and redo it. We got quotes from 5 different contractors… all had good ideas and were in the same price range, which meant we had to decide based on something other than price. We felt very comfortable with Wish and believed he could do the job we wanted. Throughout the process, Wish was very professional. He cleaned up every night, and if we wanted changes as the job progressed, he was always accommodating. The end result of the basement exceeded our expectations. We are very happy with it, and I’m especially pleased with how my bar turned out. I would definitely recommend Wish, and would use him again for any future renovations.
We choose Wish Krajewski after reviewing his work and background and his ability to work with carpentry. Throughout the project Wish provided suggestions on improvements to our plan which we followed. The focal point of my basement from the very beginning was to build a trophy case that would be second to none, the focal point of my basement. What a fabulous job he has done!!! His workmanship and the pride he takes in doing a professional job was above our expectations. We have since had him come back to complete a few other jobs within our house and will continue to not only use him, but recommend him going forward.
